Boma was aware of the car slowing down as he parked it by the curb on a busy-looking street. She did not dare to look his way.

Anxiety was already overwhelming her but she managed to keep her composure and communicate with her father.

Her father sympathized with her over the unfortunate incident and asked how she got the phone she was currently using to speak with him.
