It has been two weeks since the meeting and Emerald coming back. She has fully healed and seems to be back to normal. Things have gotten better between us but her insecurities still surface every now and then. Take today for instance she is not anywhere in the packhouse. Fuck neither Devon nor I can even find her scent outside the packhouse.

“What did you two do now?” Leena asks.

“We have no idea,” I replied.

It’s the truth. We were all sitting down in the entertainment room relaxing. The weather has been shit the last two days. It has been raining on and off. Devon and I were waiting for Emerald to come down from our room. We made her move into our room after the rogue attack. I know she told us that she hasn’t had any nightmares. Those first couple of nights she was very shy. I could tell she had never slept in the same bed as someone and she was scared too. I can tell you that the first morning waking up with her in my arms and her head buried in Devon’s neck
