Kiara's pov:

It's been 216 hours since I got here, 9 days since I last contacted Eric and four days since the fainting incident. Yet, no news. There isn't anything strange or beyond the ordinary that I had to report.

Everything was going smoothly so far except the part that involves my correlation with Master Lucas Hayes.

He grows more haughty and malevolent with each passing day. Always finding fault with everything I do, his harsh criticisms pealing in my ears as my broken heart continues to shatter - tripling my hatred and disgust for him.

If anyone was to be blamed for my fainting scenerio, it had to be him.

It's clearly his fault because I worked my bones to the core because of his high and rapacious demands.

Yesterday, he returned early out of the blue and demanded his lunch be served without delay. Since I had no idea he would be returning earlier than his usuals, I wasn't prepared.
