Aurora PoV Irritated and annoyed didn’t even begin to cover how I felt. I was conflicted and in a dilemma. It was hard to ignore the fact that Lisa and Klaus had kissed, which meant I hated her and had every right to. Then again, Lisa’s the prophetic child. I was not entirely certain what the prophecy was all about, but I knew she had a huge role to play in ending the war. I felt obligated to help her achieve her destiny, but I couldn’t look past the fact that she’d kissed my husband. Or the fact that those two had spent a night together. Spock had very few flaws whenever he served me, and tardiness was definitely not part of it. “Where is this man?” I asked as I continued to pace the gardens at the back of the mansion. Usually, I wouldn’t care very much where and how Spock chooses to spend his time. I trusted him enough to believe that whatever he’s doing it for the good of the kingdom.
