Chapter Sixty Seven

Lisa PoV

All I could think about was how right Aurora was.

Aurora had always been nice to me. Even more than nice, most times. She played the role of a big-sister and a mother to me on numerous occasion. And all I could ever think to repay her was trying to steal her husband.

Even though I didn’t set out to intentionally to cause problems in her marriage, I couldn’t deny that the consequences of my actions would cause just that. So I wasn’t surprised when she pounced on me like an angry feral wolf trying to avenge the death of its mate.

I most likely would have done the same too. I was guilty of every allegation she heaved against me, and I calmly allowed her vent her anger on me. For a while I felt like a victim. After all, Klaus had kissed me back, yet, I’m the one taking all the blame. But I knew it was no matter to a hurt wife. And Aurora was definitely hurt.

Klaus finally got her off me, and I raced out of the house through the backdoor.
