The Alpha sat under the moonlight, hugging his legs to his chest. A smile played on his lips , his heart felt full with joy that he could not explain. He looked up at the sky, silently thanking the moon goddess for rewarding him with this happiness, he will forever be thankful for her mercy.

His smile grew even bigger when he heard footsteps coming from behind him. He knew who was behind him. His Omega would always follow him in the night, taking refugees away from the world and soaking in each other’s presence.

But when he smelled the scent of cedar wood instead of peach, his Alpha immediately went on high alert .

When he turned to look at other wolves, it was way too late.

A sword was pushed through his chest in a swift motion, making all the air leave from his chest.

The Alpha gasped, trying to pull the sword away from his chest. His hands gripped on the sharp edges of the sword, making blood drip on the ground. The metallic scent of blood filled the air and mixing with the ground underneath.

" That is what happens to a b*stard like you who take what belonged to me." The killer said, his voice familiar. The Alpha furrowed his brows at the voice.

The Alpha gritted his teeth, blood rushing out of his lips. He tried to look at the killer's face but wasn't able to see anything.

"Now, i will finally have what always belonged to me."

..........

Alexander woke awake. Heart beating at a unusual speed. He was drenched in a thin layer of sweat, and his night shirt was sticking on his skin. The Alpha immediately removed the shirt, discarding it on the floor with no care.

He ran his hand through his overgrown hair as he looked at the bedside table , looking for the digital clock. It was three of the night.

Alexander sighed as he made his way out of the bed. He knew that sleep won't come to him anytime soon. He was used yo his routine of his.

As he walked towards the kitchen, he thought about the nightmare he just had.

This was not the first time that he had had this nightmare. He has been having this nightmare for years now. It was always the same, and one would think that Alexander would be familiar with it, but he was not. Every time he dreamt that same nightmare, he would always wake up feeling extremely disoriented.

He would feel anxious, sad, and angry after that. His nightmare never enclosed the culprits' faces.

It was snowing outside, and it was naturally cold in his apartment as he had forgotten to close the door of the balcony.

He grabbed the water bottle from the fridge before making his way towards the room and towards his balcony.

The chill wind immediately hit him like a brick, Alexander welcomed the refreshing feeling of the cold air against his hot, sweaty body.

He gulped the water and looked at the sky. The sky was not clear, but he remembered how the sky was clear in his nightmare. He remembered how happy he felt at the first half of his dream.

He wondered what the reason for his happy self?
