" So you are saying that you really liked this girl on the first date which is quite shocking to me if you ask me." Isaac said as he sat on the floor of Alexander’s bedroom. A throw pillow was sitting on his lap as he interrogated Alexander. " Didn't you say that you didn't plan to mate anyone and that you will reject the omega on your first date?" He asked and Alexander nodded before answering his questions.

" Trust me that was my initial plan before going to the date." Alexander said, his voice still calm as he sat beside Isaac, his back resting against the bed. " You should have seen her, Isaac. She is gorgeous, a goddess if you want me to be more specific. " He said and Isaac looked at him as if he had suddenly grown two horns on his head.

Alexander omitted the parts where he would dream of a certain omega who had the same face as that of Eleanor. He didn't know whether it was his mind playing tricks on him or it was a sign of God. But he refused to let anyone know his secret. Isaac may be his best friend but would tease him for it. Isaac was never the one who can hold a decent conversation.

" It feels weird to hear you say something like this for an omega. " Isaac said as he took a sip of the soft drink . " Where is my tsundere, cold Alpha? Who hated the thought of getting married?"

Alexander chuckled as he took a sip of his coffee, grimacing at how cold it was but he took another sip nonetheless.

" Honestly, I don't know him anymore. "

" So should I start preparing for the wedding gift?" Isaac asked as he moved a bit closer to his best friend. He wriggled his brows at him but Alexander scoffed at him , taking a sip of his cold coffee.

" No. That's not happening anytime soon."

" What?!" Isaac exclaimed as he moved too close to Alexander that the latter had to scoot a little farther with a frown on his face. The scent of cedarwood was a bit too extreme in the air. " Why not?" Isaac exclaimed again. " You like her and you are handsome, rich and you were mentioned in magazines as one of the most sorted bachelor businesses. Any Omega would throw them at you !"

" Any Omega would but she is different. " Alexander said, his voice getting low as he stared at the floor. " She rejected me." He added and to his surprise — or not— Isaac broke into a laugh. Not a chuckle or giggle kind of laugh but a full " body falling, tears welling " kind of laugh. Alexander chose to ignore him. He knew how Isaac was and so his behavior never surprised him any longer.

" Sorry, Sorry. Didn't mean to laugh ." Isaac managed to say as he wiped his tears from the corner of his eyes as he saw how quiet Alexander was at the moment. " But it's, but it's quite funny that there is a girl who would reject you." He laughed again, tears falling from his eyes before he regained himself to speak again. " Must be a true wound for your ego!"

" It's not."

" it is."

"It's not."

" it is."

" it's not because even though she was rejecting me, she was still so polite that I felt bad for putting her in such place." Alexander said as he stared at the coffee in his hands. Ironically, his coffee mug was of pink color all thanks to Ava of course . " I thought that I would feel insulted if someone ever rejected me but oddly I am not. " He added with a smile on his face. " She was so kind. She explained to me how she wanted to start her own cafe and how she wanted to focus on her career instead of being tied down to someone forever." Alexander smiled again as he remembered how many times she had said sorry to him during her little speech.

Alexander oddly felt proud for her standing for herself and he didn’t know why he was the one feeling proud for her. It was the first time he met her , so why did he feel as if he had known her since eternity? Maybe it was because she was a fragment of his dreams.

" And what did you say after that?" Isaac asked as he chucked his entire drink in one go .

" I Said that it's okay and that I understand. "

" So you just walked yourself home?" Isaac asked in disbelief as he stared at Alexander who was sipping his black coffee. This was his third cup of coffee in the last hour. " Seriously? You didn't even try to negotiate with her?"

" What do you want me to negotiate with her?" Alexander asked as a frown appeared on his face while he returned his gaze to fix Isaac 's face. " She wanted freedom and by marrying me she won't get that. How could I make her agree to marry me?" He asked , irritated.

"So you do want to marry her?" Isaac smirked and Alexander felt his Alpha growl at the prospect of having Eleanor as his wife. Alexander loved the idea of coming home to Eleanor and that thought scared him. He was never a guy who saw himself wanting to be married but here he was.

Well, there was no point at denying his feelings. Even before meeting Eleanor, he had Been in love with the omega he often met in his dreams . So now seeing the omega in real life was a scenario that he had never imagined but here he was, already whipped for the omega.

" Yes. I do want to marry her." He said and felt his face heat up in the process and he knew that Isaac would clearly see the blush that was painting on his face.

" Then ask her to marry you!" Isaac almost shouted and Alexander was back to frowning at him.

" Do you have hearing problems or something?" He asked but Isaac ignored him as he continued to speak.

" Well , Why do you think that she won't have the freedom to do what she wants if she gets married to you?" Isaac asked and Alexander furrowed his brows. " As far as I know you, you are not someone who would restrict your mate from doing whatever they want. If anything, you would be pushing them towards their dreams. " Isaac said. " Would you want them to sit in the house and do nothing at all? No right? Then what is wrong in marrying your dream girl?"

Alexander was speechless because for the first time in what felt like decades he felt as if Isaac Said something right.

Alexander was not someone who was a narrow minded person. He would support his mate to do whatever they want.

" But she didn't want to get married." Alexander said again and saw how Isaac rolled his eyes at him and Alexander wanted to scold him.

" Then make her marry you, stupid." Isacc before standing up and walking towards the mini fridge in Alexander room that was always filled with various drinks. He got two cans of beer because talking with Alexander needed a lot more energy than any one would think. He gave one to Alexander who placed the coffee mug on the floor before taking the can from Isaac's hand. " Do you expect any girl to agree to arrange marriage immediately?" He asked as he resumed his previous position beside Alexander. " This is the 21st century. Girls want romance and not some business deals."

" You want me to romance her? I have just met her once!"

" And yet you are whipped!"

"Shut. Up."

" You shut up and listen to me if you want her to be your mate." Isaac said and this time Alexander immediately went quiet. " Romance her later but first court her. Gain her trust that you will be a great mate. As for now, date and then romance her." Isaac said as he popped the can open, Alexander did the same .

The latter was a bit dazed at what Isaac said. The thought of having Eleanor as his wife sounded so good that he wanted to make it true.

They were both forced by his parents to go on dates. Alexander wanted to make her see that he was truly interested in her and that he won't take away her freedom.

" What should I do next?" Alice asked as he took a sip of the beer. The sun was still up in the sky. It was barely evening yet. It has been exactly a week since he last saw Eleanor. Ever since then there was no sign of the brunette goddess.

" Just do what I tell you to do and trust me, you will have her as your wife ." Isaac assured and Alexander was never the one who would trust Isaac blindly but this time he wanted to give him a benefit of doubt.

His mother wanted him to get married and Alexander would do anything to make Eleanor his mother's daughter in law.
