Barely weeks ago, her presence alone was already an abomination to Lucas. Whenever he sees her, there was not a time that her life was not in danger. Lucas would seize every opportunity to end her life. 

However, these past few days, he did become kind and gentler to her. Was he using that trick to lure her into his trap? 

Danielle was scared. Not because she might die in the hands of Lucas. As time passes by, her worry was not falling prey to him in a silver platter. But falling in love with the man she owed so much.

Just now, she was resisting the urge to go out of her room and watch Lucas cook. It would've been a sight to behold, the handsome Lucas Del Fierro, wearing an apron, cooking a meal for the person he hates.
