Chapter 9:

Scarlette spent the next few days in a daze, trying to process everything that had happened with Gabriel and Isabella. She couldn't believe that Gabriel had kept Isabella's existence a secret from her, and she was confused about what she wanted from their relationship. Alpha Jackson had been a great support to her, and she appreciated his friendship more than ever.

One day, Scarlette decided to take a walk in the nearby woods. She needed some time alone to clear her head. As she walked, she heard a rustling in the bushes behind her. She turned around, but there was no one there. She shrugged it off and continued walking, but the feeling of being watched didn't go away.

Suddenly, she heard a twig snap. She spun around and saw a figure emerging from the shadows. It was Isabella.

Scarlette's heart raced as Isabella approached her, a sinister smile on her face.

"Well, well, well. What do we have here?" Isabella said. "Seems like Gabriel's new toy has wandered into my territory."
