Liam’s heart skipped a beat. Then he stopped and turned around to gaze at Dax. His eyes bear coldness when he stared at his friend.
“I see you picked up a new and disturbing behavior.” Liam coldly said.
“What are you talking about?” Dax jokingly asked.
“Isn't it disturbing that you are listening in on other conversations?”
“Why are you being so serious? I happened to hear the lady's voice when I tapped you on the shoulder. I wasn't eavesdropping on anything. You seemed tense. Is everything okay?”
Liam placed both his hands into his pocket as he let out a sigh of relief.
“I am not stressed. I need you to stay out of my business and stop whatever you have going on with my wife!” Liam coldly said.
Dax seemed a bit disheartened. He then looked down at his shoes to hide the sadness that occupied his eyes.
