Dax followed Liam into the office and slammed the door behind him.

“Did my door do something to you?” Liam asked.

“Yes, it did.” Dax said.

Liam frowned at his friend’s mad expression as he took his seat. He tipped the desk while striving to act patient even though he wasn't.

“Are you angry with my door or me?” Liam asked.

Dax walked to the front of the desk, pulled the chair closer to the table, and sat down. He knew what he was about to say was none of his concern. But he still planned to say it anyway.

“We are both men, so I am not going to hold back my feelings. I am mad at you, you prick!” Dax angrily replied.

“I don't recall us having any childhood grudges, and you just arrived in the country, so it is kind of difficult for me to guess how I offended you.” Liam calmly

Liam is a piece of shit and if you author are a woman and have any respect for women, you will separate Carmen from her shitty cheating abusing husband and let her be with a man who will love her, treat her like she deserves. This is unacceptable. You don't love an abusing man, you get away from him
