Chapter Forty One

I woke up to laughter, it was much better than waking up to the nightmares. I looked around but nobody was in the room. I stretched as I pulled myself off the couch. Walking down the hall, I could see light coming from under the office door. I stopped outside trying to listen.

"No, we need this for her," Arrow chuckled.

"We can get that, but we also need this," Arion chimed in.

"Listen, boys, I have been married to your mother for a long time. I know what makes women happy, you have to get this too. If you don't take my advice, don't blame me when she bites your heads off," Alpha Jax chuckled.

"Fine but we are getting the rest of it too," Arrow said firmly.

"What is going on in there?" I wondered to myself. I heard footsteps coming toward the door. I quickly made my way back to the couch. I plopped down and pretended to be asleep. I could hear the sound of three sets of footsteps coming down the hall. They were keeping their voices down, probably because they thought I was still asle
