My wife was someone who didn't hide her feelings whenever she got the chance to. We have lived together long enough for me to notice that.

And that was the thing that made me bothered about her attitude since yesterday after I went to pay the bill at the restaurant.

It had been going well, or it seemed to be up until that moment.

She had been acting strange since then and I had bought her 'I'm tired' statement. Hell, I even reminded myself repeatedly last night after her curt reply to my text that she was only tired but today, as she walked into the conference room I knew that I was wrong.

Especially as we sat in a restaurant a building away from the company to celebrate the acquisition with her at the other side of the table engrossing herself on conversation and obviously trying to avoid me- something she has been doing all through the day.

It was obvious that she was avoiding me.
