Chapter Thirty-three

HEAVEN

His eyes were boring into my soul and no matter how I tried to look away, I found myself staring into his electrifying blue eyes. They were hypnotizing.

'What are you doing?, Snap out of it!' the voice in my head jerked me out of the haze I was in.

I turned my head, averting my gaze away from his quickly. I was almost breathless and panting.

Seriously, Heaven? Has it gotten to this?

This was only acting, he was only doing this to set the mood per say. I knew that those words were just empty- a plot device, but why was my body betraying me?

I cleared my throat, trying to gain composure.

Letting out a small chuckle, I said, "you really don't have to do that, Damien," I got closer to him, my face almost in his chest with his height towering over me. His eyes were focused on me, never leaving my small frame. "The paparazzi are not that close, they can't hear us." I told him in a hushed whisper. I was being careful so that the vendor would not be able to hear me.
