Aurora’s POV

Returning to my apartment with Leo in tow, I was struck by a sudden surge of nostalgia as I stepped through the familiar threshold. My key was still under the rug by the door. No one has touched it which is something i like about this building, its safety.

The scent of home enveloped me, mingling with the comforting presence of my loyal German Shepherd at my side. With a soft sigh, I glanced around the space, taking in the familiar sights and sounds that had once been so integral to my daily routine. Things I do every morning, like my yoga.

Determined to shake off the lingering sense of unease that had plagued me since leaving Brown Wood Pack, I rolled up my sleeves and set to work cleaning the entire apartment from top to bottom. I even got motivated to change the location of my furniture, reminding me of the monster I wish to forget.
