4-Luan Lynn

Ted’s POV

I move quickly, lifting her and carrying her to the bed.

“Don’t leave me, baby,” Lynn whines. “I need you. Please don’t leave me.”

Bipolar Lynn strikes again.

I mindlink the midwife.

After only a few hours, I am holding my son, Zachary is here.

“Fifteen weeks!” Lynn declares from her bed. “I have fifteen weeks to get back into shape for that dress. Good Job, little Zach. Give your mother her first gift. Such a sweet considerate boy. Now take him to another room. I need my rest if I am going to get back to the gym.”

And there is my Luna, Lynn Sol, ladies and gentlemen.

I do leave to go the guest room I stay in on nights when Lynn doesn’t want me around her.

I am met by my ranked members and their mates.

“I can take him Ted, you need some sleep too,” Crystal, my Gamma, tells me. “I will put him in the nursery with Daisy. She will be happy for the company.”

“Congratulations!” Bill wraps me in a hug. “He is a strong boy. I think I heard him crying through the soundproofing.”

“Thanks, man. Won’t be long all three ranked members will have heirs,” I slap Bill’s back.

“Yeah,” Bill pulls Betty close with a kiss to her head.

He turns to give his final report on tonight’s mission. “We extracted the girl. She is more than halfway through her pregnancy. If Sedit didn’t know she was pregnant, he was an idiot. So, I changed it up and left evidence that she was in the fire and died.”

“How?” I ask, worried he did something to harm her.

“Just know it's done. Yoel should find out about the death tomorrow from Edwin and Eleanor,” Bill is holding Betty tenderly. Not going to lie, I’m jealous right now. “I set her up with her brother. Once the baby is born, we can give her a job at the Sol Royal I think.”

He looks to Crystal. She is in charge of the business end of things.

“Absolutely. That house was perfect, she will be head maid before a year on the job. It was a shame to destroy it,” Crystal coos, still holding baby Zach. “Is formula okay for him? I think he needs to eat.”

I look back at the door and I remember something from the baby books.

“Hold on,” I go back into the room and gently wake Lynn. “Hey, if you want to keep those impressive boobs to go in your dress, you should feed our son.”

Lynn looks down at her breasts, which are, of course, larger than normal.

“Bring him to me,” Lynn whines, sitting up.

“Crystal, Lynn wants to feed him,” I call to the open door and Crystal comes in.

Crystal and Lynn work out the mechanics of feeding and Zach is a happy baby boy.

It’s been 15 weeks since Zach has been born and Lynn has lost all her baby weight and then some.

“Look how amazing I look,” Lynn twirls into my office. “Tomorrow, I am not feeding Zach at all. I want my boobs to be perfect!”

She doesn’t wait for a response, instead she runs out.

Bill and Crystal give me a sympathetic look. I give them a tight smile.

“So, Betty can’t travel,” Bill starts changing the subject, a little. “And, honestly, do you trust me with Zach alone?”

I laugh. “You both are off the hook. Lynn and I will go the ball alone.”

Both Bill and Crystal pump their arms saying “yes.”

“Sorry, Ted,” Crystal laughs a little. “But this is going to a boring as hell ball. OH, Carl does want to go. His sister will be there.”

“Perfect, he can act as Beta,” I smirk at Bill.

“Yeah, yeah, he can have the job too,” Bill teases me.

We all laugh and finish up for the day.

“I’ll drive, Alpha,” Carl tells me.

“Wow, Carl,” Lynn says, slack jawed. “You know out of Gamma workout clothes you look amazing.”

I look over at Carl. He is very blonde with dark blue eyes. He is built like a warrior, only slightly bigger. He is wearing a nice, tailored suit.

“Thank you, Luna,” Carl says, with his face squished up.

“I may want to walk in on your arm,” Lynn teases. “Ted refused to let me fix his hair.”

I am not bad looking, I don’t think. I have really dark hair, that refuses to be styled. I am tall and built like an Alpha. I look over at Carl, who is suddenly very uncomfortable.

“OH, I am just kidding,” Lynn laughs. “Ted is an Alpha, no way I pass up the chance to show off an Alpha for a second Gamma.”

I roll my eyes at Carl and hand him the keys.

When we arrive at the ball, Carl pulls up to let Lynn and I out.

“Oh, Ted, look at the red carpet. Let me just,” She runs her finger through my hair. The sparks and tingles feel so good on my scalp, I almost forget she is a horrible person. “It is really no use.”

She sighs and I get out to help her out. Cameras flash as she appears.

“You look really beautiful,” I tell her, making her smile at me.

“Alpha Sol,” A report calls my attention. “You have a beautiful Luna.”

“Thank you, I am a very luck Alpha,” I smile at him and back at Lynn, who is smiling for the cameras.

“Do you have anything to say about the recent rise in Rogue activity?” He asks me.

“We Alphas have plans. If the rogues don’t want packs fine, but they are going to learn a lesson they will never forget,” I answer sternly.

“Alpha, you are among the younger Alphas. I understand you just had a son. Is it true that younger Alphas like you are making alliances with Hunters to help with the Rogue problem?” The reporter asks.

I smile at him. “Alphas, young, old, or whatever, have one goal to keep out packs safe. We will use whatever resources available.”

“So, that is a 'yes' to working with Hunters?” The reporter presses.

I keep my smile. “With the approval of the King. Yes, we Alphas are forming treaties with Hunters.”
