I covered my face properly with the hood I had on, trying to look as inconspicuous as possible. I didn’t want anyone to recognize me and spread the news that I was going to meet Alex at this time of the night.

It was Geri’s house, I know, and I have every right to visit my cousin’s house without any complaint, but ever since the accident, Geri was usually out by this time, patrolling with the others at the pack border.

His role was announced to every pack member and there was no one who wasn’t aware of it. And that would make me look suspicious for coming to his house at the time he wasn’t around, so I had to keep my identity hidden.
