"It doesn't matter who goes first, we will all die one day. Whoever is left behind must keep the memories of the other. Such must die with it," Kianna had said to me, smiling as she held onto my left hand. That day, she had called very early in the morning. "Do you mind going on a fishing trip with me?," she had asked.

I found that very unusual. Kianna was good at so many things, but fishing didn't rank as one of her biggest strength.

"Are you serious about this, or this is some joke?," I asked her, barely awake.

"Meet me in an hour. The earlier we go, the better our chances." She hung up.

Reluctantly, I had gone up to meet her. She was already all kitted for the trip.

"What happened?," I asked her, as we journeyed.

"How do you mean?"

"I have never known you to be interested in the fishes. Is this some get away or what?."

"Well, let's say I needed to be alone with you. Come on, I still wanna learn how to fish. What better tutor than you."

"Hmm."
