When Giovanni had made his way back to where she and Elvio sat, she quickly closed her eyes and relaxed her body, pretending to be unaware of her surroundings. She heard footsteps coming closer to her but then did not hear a shift in the air indicating that the man who walked up to her had walked away. It was crazy in her mind, but she could literally feel his eyes on her.
