Chapter 21

From Alassandra's POV

I felt my heart pounding in my chest as I stared at the wolf before me. Even though everything in my body was screaming for me to run, my body was unresponsive. After a mere few moments, I slowly began to step away from him. My first thought was to get to the restroom as quickly as possible so I could lock myself inside. However, it suddenly dawned on me that the bathroom had no windows.

"That's great. Now I'm thinking like the girls in the horror movies," I thought to myself.

As I stood face to face with the wolf, I observed that it wasn't moving but was staring at me. I felt a sense of familiarity when I gazed into its eyes, but I couldn't place it. Taking a few steps back, I also noticed the wolf following me. I felt my heart pounding in my chest as I took another step back.
