Chapter 43

Josephine felt her heart flutter and she blinked, looking at him and Lucas eyes fell on the side of her neck. He pushed her hair to the back, revealing her skin and his fingers grazed it lightly, sending shivers down her body. He leaned in and whispered against her ear, “Let’s do that then.”

Josephine’s eyes rose, not expecting him to agree with her now all of a sudden and she suddenly felt icy shivers in her body.

Lucas pulled his head back, looking at her face and he said, “But before that, let’s get you treated.” With that, he made her sit by guiding her body and he sat on the stool before holding her arm again.

Josephine could see a different expression on his face now, something that told her he was about to do something evil as he had a smirk on his face.
