Chapter 44

Josephine touched her neck, her fingers moving up and down and a small smile appeared on her lips. She still remembers the way Lucas tongue on her neck made her feel and it sent butterflies down her stomach. She has never felt as crazy as that but she can admit she loves it. Even Brian never made her feel that way when they were still together and for the first time in a while, she was glad that she didn’t end up with him.

Being aware that she woke up late, she knows that Lucas would have gone to work. Getting herself out of bed, she undressed and went to the bathroom to have a bath. When she was done, she stepped out of the bathroom, humming with a smile and ready to put on her clothes when her phone rang. She stopped humming and walked to the side of the bed before flipping her phone over and she saw that the caller is Mrs. Lewis. She answered the call and greeted, “Good morning mother.”
