Lucas sat in the board meeting with other shareholders and he stared straight ahead at one particular person in the room. If his eyes could burn, the individual would have roasted by now and the person is none other than Patton.

Everyone waited for him to speak regarding the discussion they were having but instead of replying to them, he said, “Michael? Why don’t you take over from here?”

Michael who was busy reading something from the file in his hand suddenly looked up when he heard his name and he blinked at Lucas. Since he was standing beside him, he leaned closer and called in a low voice, “Boss?”

With a look of irritation, Lucas pulled Michael’s tie and said to him, “You have been working for me for over four years now so you should already know how I think and how I respond. If you don’t take over now, submit your resignation letter by the end of the day and I will gladly sign it.”
