Treating A Little Princess

I asked Dr. Gomez with a worried look, “What’s happening?”

“It seems like your baby needs to be hospitalized for a longer time. She’s having difficulty breathing, but we haven’t concluded what’s causing it,” replied Dr. Gomez.

I was stunned and scared. I looked at Violet with a sense of fear, and Alpha Matthew comforted me by placing his hand on my shoulder. “Besides, you need to be taken care of here, mate. It’s okay, this is for Violet’s well-being. We can endure staying here for a few more days,” he said.

“What else will happen, mate?” I whimpered sadly.

“Oh, mate. Trust me, everything will be fine,” Alpha Matthew reassured me.

I heard the beeping of machines and the murmurs of nurses, and the smell of antiseptic filled my nose. I could feel the cold hospital air on my skin, and my heart raced with anxiety. I was on the verge of tears, but I tried to hold them back.
