Twinkled Evening

“Mate, did you hear that? Did a freaking tree branch just drop or what?”

Alpha Matthew took a quick peek out the window and was like, “Meh, whatever.”

“What’s up? Is there something going on out there?” I asked.

“It’s probably nothing. Maybe it’s just some prankster or Theophile looking for something up in the tree,” Alpha Matthew replied.

“Ready to take a dip?”

“I’ll catch up with you later. I’m still keen on finishing this book.” Alpha Matthew exclaimed, showing me a book with a black and gold cover.

“Ooh, that book seems like a really interesting read!” I twinkled.

Once I took a shower, I wandered into the kitchen and saw Lavelle creating a delicious-looking apple pie.

“Girl, that vanilla powder you added in is freaking irresistible! You’ve got some serious cooking skills, Lavelle,” I beamed and put my hand on her shoulder.

“Thank you for your praise. But to be honest, I’m still a newbie in the kitchen. It’s not really my thing, you know? Theophile, on the other hand, is a
