Abby POV
"Nico, stop carrying your sister around. You know she hates that." My twins are now two years old, and Nico seems to think he is Ashina's guardian. Ashina is half his size, so he acts like she is his toy. It aggravates Ashina to no end.
Damien is coming home today from a trip to Louisiana. There is another pack that is having issues with trying to get along with their human neighbors. Since I am pretty busy with these two, he went by himself.

Today is the day before my seventeenth birthday. I'm really not looking forward to tomorrow. Mom wants to make a big deal of it though, so I will oblige. Plus, I really do have to go along with it. I wake up the next morning with a smile on my face. It's my seventeenth birthday! I'm not really that happy about it, because I know my heart is going to be broken, in some way today.
