If I thought Jacob was intolerable yesterday, he was even more intolerable today.

The moment I stepped into the office with him, I could feel the tension wrapped around like a shroud. His attitude was colder, harsher, and more demanding than ever before. From the moment I arrived, he seemed hell-bent on making my workday a living nightmare.
