Chapter 28

Lorenzo's POV

My dad and Lora have gone out for the night with promises to be back so I have just a few uninterrupted hours with Celestine and I plan to make the most of them.

Five minutes after they have left, I'm standing outside Celestine's door and hoping to finally have our long overdue talk.

Knock, knock. I wait.

No sound comes from the other side of the door.

Knock, knock.

The door opens, bit by bit and Celestine's head pops out of the tiny space. "What's it?"

"I want to talk to you."

"No." The door starts closing but I swiftly place my foot in between. She stops, looking down at my foot, "Move your foot Lorenzo before I slam it with the door."

Not giving her a moment to react, I push the door with my shoulder and force my way into the room, and shut the door behind me, locking the both of us in.

"What the fuck?" Celestine's hand push against my back, directing me to the position of the closed door. My feet stay planted on the floor, not even moving an inch. "Get out.
