The day passed by, and Alice had her medical checkup.

After the checkup, Alice headed to James's office. She was carrying her medical reports with her. James was waiting for her in his office.

"Hello, Alice," James greeted her as she entered the room.

"How did it go?"

Alice sighed with relief.

"Everything seems fine. The doctor said I'm healthy, and the baby's doing well."

"That's great to hear," James replied, genuinely happy for her.
