The woman in front of me was smiling at me. She was beautiful, extraordinarily so.

"Hmph..." she mocked as she looked me up and down. "I don't see what all the fuss is about."

"Excuse me?" I asked.

"Two beasts fighting over you, but you don't seem all that special to me," she said.

"Who are you?" I hissed.

She smiled and walked closer to me. "My name is Nymeria. Good to meet your acquaintance."

The name meant nothing to me.

"No need to look so confused. You don't remember me, but I remember you." Nymeria's eyes glowed.

"I'm guessing you know Kai too, then. You aren't an ex-lover of his, are you?" I couldn't help but feel a bit jealous.

Nymeria laughed, a sound that was both alluring and unsettling. "Kai? No, he's not my type. Besides, he is my brother. Us dragons are a lot of things, but we aren't perverts."

Kai had a sister? I wasn't expecting that.

"What do you want?" I asked, feeling uneasy.

"I just wanted to get a good look at the woman who's caused such a stir," Nymeria
