I let out another roar as that asshole Lycan bit down on my neck again. I tried to shake him off as I flew across the woods, but he hung tightly.

Come on, Kai, you are a dragon. It should be easy to shake this nuisance off, I told myself as I flew in a circle again. I felt my blood trickling down my neck, so I decided to land. I'll have to deal with this bastard on the ground.

As I descended, Alvis held on tight, unwilling to let go. I let out a burst of flames from my mouth, hoping to catch him off guard, but he dodged it easily. I growled in frustration and whipped my tail around, hitting him hard in the side. He yelped and finally released his grip on my neck. I took a step back, panting heavily. The Lycan staggered to his feet, glaring at me with yellow eyes. He was bigger than any werewolf I had seen before, way bigger than Alvis's regular wolf form, but I wasn't going to back down. I lowered my head and let out another roar, flames licking at the corners of my mouth.
