Chapter Sixty-three: The Temple.

AUTHOR’S POV

The windows of the children’s room remained unshot and the boys kept their eyes open while waiting patiently for the day to break.

They thought Abel might want to do something terrible in the night. They can't imagine him out of their sight, the thought alone scares them, and that's why they have to keep the window curtains open too.

Last night their father had refused them patrolling with Abel and so they had to stay in their rooms and watch his moves.

Lucas was agitated but Liam was a bit calm about it, resolving that he might not do anything beyond his control that night after all the day is about breaking when they will be going to where Kalife said and getting solutions to all this mystery.

Lucas could not stop pacing around the room. He had paranoia apparently and the whole night he imagined all the worst-case scenarios and he kept Liam awake with vivid descriptions of all of them.
