Lucian led me out of my room, and out of the pack house. It was so windy out there, and I wished I had tightened the bows more. My hair was all over the place, and slowly loosening from its place. I chanced a look at Lucian and he was so busy looking at the best place that we could talk.

"I think it would be nice to go deeper into the woods tonight.The moon is not in its brightest here, and goddess knows it would be difficult for me to shift here," he said.

I shrugged as I kicked the wood from my path. "Ok, we would go deeper. I don’t know why I think you have a dinner planned for me."

He laughed at that. "I don’t do dinners, Luna," he said easily.

I walked as fast as I could into the forest as I tried hard to stifle the smile on my face. Everything felt so sweet, something I had not imagined that I would feel on this outing. Lucian soon caught up with me, and I smiled softly showing how glad that I was at the moment. It felt like I was living the life.
