I took a tub of mascara, trying to platter it on my eyelashes, so my yellowish eyes could be more prominent, but it was going all over the place. With a groan, I placed the tub down on the shelf, glaring at my reflection on the mirror while taking a roll of tissues to clean the stain. I just couldn’t understand why I couldn’t get it right when I have watched Lily do things like this for so long.

With a groan, I turned away from the mirror. "Why the hell am I wasting my time with this? Lucian would definitely tell me a bad word or two soon," I grumbled to myself.

'Don’t spell doom before the date even happens,' Kezav whined.

I rolled my eyes at that as I turned back to the mirror. 'He doesn’t really have a good track record that I have to praise, you know? He literally insulted me badly the other day, and sometimes, he gets so angry for no reason at all,' I spat back.
