CHAPTER 102

RUBY'S POV

Clarissa finally closed the cafe, her employee left too and Simon arrived too a few minutes after she called him to show up.

So everyone was present and we were all ready to talk about when we would leave for New York while we ate the pastries that Clarissa served us for dinner.

“Simon, where were you? I was worried when you left without letting me know” Clarissa asked him as she sat beside him.

“I left you a message to let you know I was gone since you were busy. I guess you didn't see it” he replied and she quickly whipped her phone out of her pocket to check and she smiled at him after seeing the message he sent.

“Sorry. I haven't had the time to check my phone since I opened up the cafe” she told him and he kissed her on the temple in front of us which made me smile.

“It's nothing, love. That's happens” he whispered and they both smiled even wider at each other. I remembered my guess about him leaving her a message and I was glad that I was right afterall.
