RUBY'S POV

“Hey, are you sure you're okay? You were whimpering in your sleep before Dax woke you up.” Clarissa asked me as we were both walking out of the plane while Dax carried Sally and conversed with Simon who was beside him.

I glanced back at Dax and Simon first to see if they were within hearing range and I saw they were close by so I turned to Clarissa and pulled her closer to whisper in her ear.

“We'll talk when we get to your house. It's private” I told her and she nodded in response after I pulled back to look at her. I smiled on seeing that she understood then we both held hands and headed for the car that waited for us.

Simon took the lead to drive while Dax took the passenger seat. Then I sat at the back with Clarissa and Sally who was still asleep and we all left for Clarissa's house.
