DAX’S POV

Ruby was playing games with me. She thought she could be sneaky enough to ask me why I broke up with her but she had no idea I knew she was Magenta and two could play that game.

I remembered what Simon said to me about her finding out that I knew she was a masked dancer and how it wouldn’t go down well but I quickly shoved his voice aside because I knew Ruby best and I was certain that she would avoid me for life if I told her the truth.

It was best to just play along with her and act oblivious to the fact that she was Magenta until I would get her out of there. I just wanted to talk to her more in a situation where she would be nothing but honest and freer with me since she believed I didn't know she was Magenta.

Remembering how she made sure to make our stance clear with each other, I groaned out loud while I loosened my tie in frustration and kept on walking.

It was like she was trying to test me. Trying to see if I would make any advances toward her as Magent
