RUBY’S POV

“Clarissa Tovaro, do you like Simon Benson?” I asked her and she blinked before looking away with a chuckle.

“What are you talking about? Of course not, Ruby. Have you forgotten we don't get along?” she denied but I wasn't convinced because I could see through whenever she was lying… all the time.

“Say something more believable, Clarissa, because you aren't convincing me at all,” I told her and she groaned.
