CHAPTER 61

RUBY’S POV

My legs still wobbled slightly as I made my way up the stairs to my porch. I tried to open the door but it was locked so I pressed the doorbell and Clarissa opened it for me on the second ring.

She looked me over from head to toe with suspicious eyes and when our eyes met, she tilted her head to the side and stroked her chin slowly and deliberately.

“You guys fucked at the club, didn't you?” she concluded immediately and my eyes grew wide on hearing her say that.

Quickly, I looked over her shoulder to see if Sally was awake in case she woke up for dinner and when I was sure she was nowhere near, I glared at Clarissa who was now smiling knowingly and I slapped her on the arm.

“Ouch! What was that for? It's not like I'm wrongly accusing you” she snapped and I ignored her as I made my way inside and took off my shoes.
