“You're bleeding!” I heard Alexis' voice as she trailed behind me into my bathroom. “What happened to you?”

The interrogation with Troy and his accomplice, though enlightening, had taken a violent turn. I have no regrets. They both needed to pay for what they had done. Alpha Reagan too. But I was patient. I needed to root out every one of them in my pack without spooking them.
