40. Rosemary

Silas kept refusing the ogirls who asked him to dance on the dance floor. It had been twenty minutes since he had been at one of the tables in the city club, and there had been countless flirtations with him.

From those who just wanted to ask him to dance to those who blatantly want to spend the night with him, with a glint in their eye hinting at the private room upstairs. The man rejected them all. His mojito was finished, but the person he was waiting for had not yet arrived.

His hands rested on the table while he scanned the dance floor. Ten minutes passed until two people finally approached his table,

"Sorry, Alpha, we need more time on the road due to traffic"

Silas nodded and told them to sit down. They were both members of his pack. A young girl with a high ponytail, Dashana, his beta. and a graceful middle-aged woman with graying hair in a low bun. The woman seemed to be repeatedly taking in the surroundings, she was not used to coming to this kind of place.

Yes I agree. They both should have felt something. But her carrying another alpha’s child is messy. But a good story. Needs better editing.
