Dylan's POV We had lost Brielle once more. I was not on Killian's side anymore. Hades saved my life and even if I found out Brielle's location, I would lead her to Hades, not Killian. I was still in the room where Brielle was formerly kept, and I could sense the tension rising outside. It seemed like they were pushing some set of wolves out of the pack to slay them in front of anyone. What could have angered Killian to do that? I walked towards the window and peeped through as I saw that up to nineteen wolves had laid to the ground while Killian's high-ranking officials surrounded all of them with daggers knives and guns strapped to them. I breathed a sigh of relief since they didn't come for me but when my eyes stared better at those victims, I realized they were the nineteen wolves that we had chosen to support us in the escape of Brielle. How the hell were they caught? One must have escaped or been killed since they were twenty but I guessed they were coming for me as well. The
Hades' POV How my men got here so quickly still amazed me. Dylan had hindered us from going out of this place. I knew how dangerous it was. Up to five people had died right in front of me. I was only able to mask my scent because I had the special wolf as an Alpha. I had informed him about how dangerous this place was and how urgent we should leave but I understood that he might have sighted some more dangerous people outside. I was glad that two of the five men who came with me were able to escape with us anyway. If the monsters didn't kill the three, he wouldn't see the big deal in escaping from here. We ran out, the other two escaping narrowly as a machete landed heavily on the ground they just stepped away from. If they had waited half a second, their legs would have been cut off totally. We ran deeper into the woods as we couldn't run toward the direction of Killian's pack anymore. I sensed Killian's men were around us, maybe more like spies. If anyone approached any of us
Killian's POV I was the Alpha of my pack, everyone knew that, but the injuries sustained by Hades' men and that traitor called Dylan, needed to be addressed urgently. More warriors came to this place and led me straight to the pack healer's district. Anyone being treated at that moment would need to be taken away while I sit on the bed, I mean the VIP bed. "What about my men? The warriors that were shot in the leg." I asked the ones conveying me to the pack healer but their response was kind of vague. I wanted to release myself from their grip and kick them in their asses, but they held me tighter and didn't permit me to make a move till we got into the pack healer's district where they dumped me on the bed. I knew right then that if it wasn't for their cooperation with me ever since I could have easily died amongst them as their combined energies might bring me down. But loyalty was something considered with high reference back then and I could sense that in the lives of my warri
Killian's POV I knew Hades as a deceiver. He could be in the midst of my pack while I divulge secrets to him. The secret I've always tried to hide. I wouldn't relent in pursuing him as the warriors were all set now. They had been training for many hours and I deemed them fit to crush any rogue sighted at the first instance. "Come with me!" I ordered as they followed right behind, marching like the warriors they were. Once Brielle returned to me, I'd ensure I also searched for Hades and murdered him. It's high time I did that. It's funny how none of my warriors or close friends had suggested that yet. I chose a warrior from all of them, to be right beside me. I had noticed his special kind of wolf and how he regarded training and even people in high ranks of power. His name was Festus. He was to be by my side till Hades would be caught. "Sniff the air. Her scent must be stuck to the air," I said as we marched out of the pack while a reliable wolf took control in the meantime, "an
Killian's POV No. I wasn't going to give up. I needed to seize Brielle from his grip. He had run out of the hideout, his clothes burning up in flames. That was so entertaining to watch, but at the same time, he could flee with Brielle. "Why are you waiting, watching him?" I asked my men who were close to him when he escaped. I wondered why they hesitated to fire at him. "You all should stay somewhere while I go confront him myself," I said and composed myself as I shifted into my wolf. I could sense some of them following me behind, probably to ensure I was safe. I didn't attack them anymore. I left them to follow me since their disobedience might be of prior importance to me now. I could see Hades running and panting heavily as he headed towards the deeper side of the woods. Once he stared back and saw me running towards him with his wolf, he turned to another direction and hid somewhere. I suddenly didn't see him anymore, but I could still sniff Brielle's scent. I had promised t
Killian's POV I was still limping towards the direction they took down the woods to find another safe hideout when I suddenly felt enervated. My wolf needed to complete my healing before I would move many distances. I dropped to the ground and released a sigh. There's a large grin on my face and I would kill anyone sighted, especially any of my wolves. They were all damn cowards. I felt like I needed to get down to the pack to gather some more able-bodied wolves to pursue Hades since I knew the direction they were going. I tried to rise to my feet but I dropped to the ground again, sighing heavily. I tried to connect my mind to the pack's link, to inform the warriors about it. But my wolf wasn't responding. "Calm down," my wolf spoke to me. I could hear the voice in my head as though someone was right behind me, speaking. After a few more hours in the middle of the woods, my wolf completed the healing and I hid behind a tree when I noticed a rogue wolf coming towards me. The eyes
Killian's POV I had sent the men to locate Hades. He must have left the woods to seek a safer hideout. "To locate Hades, not just roaming about the woods." I had instructed my men before they finally left. The betrayers had been tortured for hours and I had asked the torturer to make the torture more severe for them. But it was getting late again and my men hadn't gotten back to me yet. I wondered what might have happened. I knew they might be very busy with finding Hades, but at the same time, I needed to know what was truly wrong with them. I tried to connect with their mind links but it wasn't going through. None of their mind links. Who could have blocked that? Were they trying to hide their scent? Not so certain. Why should they? They should even let Hades know they're coming for him! He might get scared and flee towards another direction where half of them would capture him and seize Brielle, my meat. As the hours flew past, I kept worrying so I locked myself up in the room
Killian's POV My eyes snapped open as they stared straight at the wall clock. It was the middle of the night. I stared at the girl right beside me, covered in duvet and dozing off. I stared at myself and I was nude. How come? Memories of what happened the previous night flushed back and I suddenly became interested again. I uncovered the girl, wrapping up the duvet as the breeze blew at her bare body and she opened her eyes. "Don't try it," she said, trying to get up but I pinned her back to bed. "Don't do what?" I asked, my eyes filled with the desire to access her severely. I kissed her breasts comfortably and asked again, "Don't do what, tell me you don't enjoy this." She kicked me in the butt with her feet, trying to get me off of her. I rather sat on those legs while I held her hands back, feeding on her ass. She moaned roughly, asking me to get away from her and make payment. I nudged her to stare at the corner closest to us. "What do you see?" I asked. I didn't want to h
