Choosing not to die in the hands of the enemy

HADES' POV

It was as though we both planned to get down together. As we landed on the ground, Killian landed as well. I was a bit scared to see him in his wolf right in front of me. I couldn't even morph to my wolf due to the shock. I badly wanted to escape yet I cared about Brielle. I was certain he knew Brielle still had some feelings for me.

I held Brielle by her hands and told her to stay behind me but Killian began to approach slowly and slowly as each step made my heart beat very fast.

"Let me go calm him down. He can hurt you," she said but I held her back. She suddenly freed her hands and walked towards Killian, "let me pet him. He will hurt us both!"

As she approached Killian, he began to growl even more loudly. Hands akimbo, I expected the outcome of Brielle's move to calm him down. He suddenly bypassed her as he came for me. I lay to the ground low as I couldn't run out of his reach anymore. His wolverine body was on me totally and I couldn't breathe without his hair touchi
