Amelia's POV

Alpha Kayden began walking out of the room, I couldn't let the moment pass without addressing the unspoken tension between us. "You didn't deny it, you just avoided the question," I said, my voice firm, despite my thoughts telling me to stop.

He stopped in his tracks, his posture rigid as he turned around to face me. His eyes bore into mine, cold and calculating. "Repeat what you said," he commanded, his tone sharp and authoritative.

I took a deep breath, steeling myself for his reaction. "I said, you didn't deny it," I repeated, my voice steady despite the nervous fluttering in my chest. "You avoided the question."
