Chapter forty one

Alessia's POV

I felt better the next morning and was ready to get some knowledge in my head. I and Allen stayed up through the night making silly jokes until uncle Walter had us scampering off to our rooms. Getting a reminder of it had me laughing to myself.

"You headed for school or what?" Allen popped his head through my door.

I flung my bag on my shoulder hurriedly, "I'm right behind you." Checking myself in the mirror once again, I needed to look my best for Collin. Smacking my lips in satisfaction, I headed down the stairs.

"Shouldn't you wait for Patrick to come pick you up?" Joxer said, from where he sat on the couch in the living room.

"Good morning to you too uncle. And do have a nice day." I said heading out of the house.

Allen laughed lightly, "that was a huge blow. He would hate you so bad."

"Not like I want him to feel otherwise. He enjoys stepping on me too much and I can't let him ruin the rest of my day from now."

He opened the car door, "let's get you to class then."
