Chapter forty two

Collin's POV

The sight of her from behind had my heart fluttering in an unexplainable way. Wrapping my arm around her shoulder and whispering in her ear. I could feel her jump, she looked scared.

"What's wrong?" I inquired worried.

Alessia took in a deep breath, "oh, it's you Collin."

That took me aback for a moment, it's unlike Alessia to be so lost in thought. "Why do you look so stressed?"

She smiled back at me lightly. "I am okay, just feeling a bit out of place."

A thought crossed my mind with a mischievous grin. "how about we skip classes for today and head down to that apartment?" I whispered in her ears.

Tilting her head to get a closer look at me, my grin deflated almost immediately. I hope I wasn't making a fool of myself for sure.

"You really want us to go?" She asked

I nodded my head, "yes, unless you are still pissed at me and don't want to be anywhere close to me as we speak."
