Chapter 22: Freed

Zion.

It was already 6:30 PM and I'm planning in picking up Ivy early. I wanted to spend more time with her. I was buttoning up my dress shirt when my phone rang. I didn't answer it until I finished the buttons.

"Hello? Who's this?" I asked because it was just a number. I comb my hair and looked at myself in the mirror.

"Hello, Kyran Junior," he greeted. His voice sounded familiar but I couldn't guess who he is. "I think we need to talk since I have one of your sisters."

My eyes widened. I used my speed to go to Charlotte's room but she wasn't there. Where the hell did he take her?

"What did you do to my sister?" I asked him calmly but with a low voice.

"Easy," he chuckled. "It's not like your sister will die. You must have forgotten that she's a vampire."

"Who are you?" I asked for the second time.

"Bring James to me at exactly 8:00. If not, she dies," he simply said.
