Chapter 26: "Who's dead?"

I ran home and lock the door, leaning on it, I was catching my breath, still processing what I've seen.

Was it me? Did I do that to him?

I went upstairs and did what Zion told me. I always get nervous with these kinds of situations but I trust Zion. I know that everything he says will always be for the both of us but I can't keep myself from worrying. He didn't look so good earlier.

I got my phone and dialed Lizzy.

"Hello? Lizzy, thank god you picked up. Can you come over?" I asked her.

"What? Why? Are you going to complain again about Zion ghosting you?"

"It's much more serious than that," I said.

"Okay, chill. You sound different, is everything okay?" She worriedly asked.

"I'll explain everything later," I told her.

"Okay. Give me five minutes," she said before ending the call.
