Chapter 23: Bedridden

I woke up while Zion was still sleeping peacefully next to me. I leaned to have a closer look at him. I just realized that his features are so perfect. It was my first time to see his face this close. No wonder why a lot of people are obsessed with him.

I carefully got out of bed, making sure not to wake him up. I went downstairs to cook my breakfast when I saw two of their helpers.

"Good morning, Ma'am," one of them greeted me.

"Good morning. I'd prefer to be called Ivy," I replied. It makes me uncomfortable whenever they call me that because I'm not someone who was raised with a silver spoon.

"Apologies if we still haven't cooked. We don't normally cook for the Kyrans because they don't—Oh my, God. Do you know that they're—"
