Chapter 27: The Threat

My phone rang for like a hundred times already and it was all from Ivy. She must have been thinking that I'm in no mood to see her. If only she knew how much I wanted to be with and how much I want us to be together.

But I can't. With me around her won't guarantee her safety. She was just a normal girl who came in town to start a fresh life in college and here I am, being like a barrier to her path. I want what's best for her and if that's being away, so be it.
